Mobile Physiotherapy in Soller
Why Physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy considers the person and the body as a whole, not just treating the limb or illness alone. A wide range of conditions can be treated linked to:
muscles and joints – such as knee or back pain, tendinopathy or occupational injuries.
the nervous system – where a Stroke, Parkinson’s Disease or Multiple Sclerosis (MS) cause balance and movement problems.
lung diseases – such as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), asthma and Cystic Fibrosis (CF).
Elderly rehabilitation is a valuable form of physiotherapy for those facing dementia, mobility issues or following surgery. I work closely with my care agency partners serving elderly clients throughout the island. With care and attention to detail we work to maintain levels of daily function, reduce pain, prevent falls and improve confidence.
Treatment includes:
manual therapy – quality, targeted hands on mobilisation of joints, fascia and adhesions.
movement and exercise – tailored to optimise ease of movement, strength, balance and confidence.
reassurance and education – tips and considerations to approach daily tasks more efficiently and mindfully, perhaps regarding posture, pacing and sitting habits.
